Every sales team has lived through a scoring system that ranked a student's fake email above a Fortune 500 VP because the student clicked more links. After the third absurdity, reps quietly go back to gut feel — and honestly, fair enough. A score that can't explain itself doesn't deserve trust.
So ours explain themselves. Every record carries three scores — fit, data quality, activation timing — and each one shows the factors that produced it: 'matches your closed-won pattern on industry, size and stack; data verified 12 days ago; hiring surge suggests active window'. Reps can argue with that. Mostly, they don't need to.
A score without reasons is an opinion with a decimal point. Transparency is what turns it into a tool.

Around 30–50 closed-won deals gives a usable fit model; more history sharpens it. Less than that and we start from industry-calibrated defaults and honestly label it as such — a clearly-labeled approximation beats false confidence every time.
